The State Street Shirt Company opened up shop in Madison, Wisconsin in October of 2003 when a bunch of my friends wanted some funny t-shirts made up for a little.... event we were putting on. I threw a few designs up for sale and put out some advertising.... over the holiday season, I sold a bunch of 'em, so I kept on doing it. Over time, friends kept giving me ideas for new shirts, and eventually some of these jerks became partners in this little venture.
All of the stuff you see in our stores was made by me and by friends of mine. We're always brainstorming for new designs and scouring for funny stuff, so if you think of something that makes you laugh, let us know! We know you are poor, so we try our asses off to keep prices for our high-quality stuff reasonable. Our stuff is made in a sweatshop-free environment, so you can feel good when you order stuff from us. If you have an awesome idea or something is bugging you, let us know. If you have photos of you and your friends wearing our shirts, send 'em in!
